PUNK-ROCK. Nun gibt es auch von Duane Peters und seinen U.S. BOMBS eine DVD, auf der es über eine Stunde lang 17 Live-Songs gibt, die mit 4 Kameras eingefangen und soundtechnisch perfekt bearbeitet wurden. Natürlich randvoll mit Hits, stimmungvoll und in bester Laune dargeboten. Dazu gibt es als Bonus das Ganze noch als beiliegende Audio-CD, sowie natürlich Interviews und ein Musikvideo! Kommt auf einem obskuren Label, dass sonst viel Reggae und Roots Music veröffentlicht.

STREETPUNK. Nach langer Zeit meldet sich die vermeintliche Hauptband der vielbeschaeftigten Skate-Legende Duane Peters mit diesem 15 Song starken neuen Album zurueck, das sich ueberraschend frisch und unverbraucht zeigt. Eine dreckige Mischung aus Einfluessen von SHAM 69, CLASH, RADIO BIRDMAN und JOHNNY THUNDERS, mit viel Rotz und Rock'n'Roll versehen. Neben straighten Streetpunk-Hymnen, die mit Duane's snotty Vocals und Hintergrundchoeren aufwartet. Die Platte ueberrascht aber auch mit einigen clean gesungenen und rock'n'rolligen 77er-Perlen, sowie dem hochmelodioesen und ungewohnten ''4th of july''. Dazwischen gibt es auch mal eher ruhige, akustischer gehaltene Songs mit leichtem Country-Einschlag. Die Texte sind wieder gewohnt kritisch, angepisst und gut! Sicherlich das bislang abwechslungsreichste Album der Bomben! Kommt in altbekannter Aufmachung und mit bedrucktem Innencover.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Second EP from this new-ish HC Punk band from Umea, Sweden, and it rages even harder than their first! Featuring former/current members of bands like INSTÄNGD, TRISTESS, and REGULATIONS, you know that these guys know their way around a classic-sounding Punk tune and they drop four ragers on this little slab.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Debut 7” by ex-members of DS-13, REGULATIONS, VICIOUS and other great Swedish Hardcore bands. It will come as no surprise to those familiar with the aforementioned bands that U.X. VILEHEADS play fast US influenced Hardcore with a specific attention being paid to early Dischord titles.

OLD-SCHOOL HARDCORE. Brand new EP from Richmond's own UGLY LAW. These born again fellas from a scene before (members of UNSEEN FORCE, HONOR ROLE, and JUDGE DREDD) thrash through 6 ripping tracks of old- school hardcore. Good production and VERY good musicianship throughout this little platter here. Definetly a must have for fans of stuff like DIE KREUZEN, ARTICLES OF FAITH and old-school Richmond HC. HARDCORE. Mexico's hardest working band has been touring relentlessly through Mexico, Central America and South America. Now teamed up with Detonate Records, the band plans to tour Europe, the United States and many more places, bringing a heavy, mosh-friendly Hardcore sound in the vein of FIGHT EVERYONE and TERROR.

Ihr neustes Werk beinhaltet sechs neue Songs, die die etwas dunklere Seite ihres Emo-Punks zeigt, einen Remix von ''Inside me, inside you'' (Vom Vorgaengeralbum ''Open up and say awesome''), welcher vom Get Up Kids und Reggie And The Full Effect Producer Ed Rose produziert wurde, sowie das Musikvideo zu ''Inside me, inside you''. Musikalisch ist das ganze eine ziemlich wilde Mischung aus Elvis Costello, GUK, Stereo und Weezer. Seitdem die Band zu Initial Records gewechselt hat bekommt sie immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt und wird wohl noch ganz gross rauskommen!

Das bereits dritte Album des Trios aus Minnesota, welches 12 Power Pop Songs mit einem deutlichen Schuss Emo beinhaltet. In Amerika wurden sie schon laenger als Geheimtip in Sachen Power Pop a la Weezer gehandelt. Das ganze wurde von Red Rose (Get Up Kids/Reggie And The Full Effect) produziert und als Gastmusiker verpflichtete man noch Mattt und James von den Get Up Kids sowie Stephen von Descendents/All.

HARDCORE-PUNK. ULTIMO RESORTE were the bridge between the very first Spanish Punk generation and the first Spanish Hardcore Wave. During their five years of existence (1979-1984) they only managed to record a demo, and two impossible to find records. A self-titled 7-track 7" EP and "Una Causa Sin Fondo" a 5 track 12". "La Larga Sombra Del Punk" compiles both those records plus a 16 pages 11"x11" booklet with a long interview with the band and tons of pictures and fanzine clippings. Musically they lay in between the most aggressive parts of VICE SQUAD, DISCHARGE, ELECTRIC DEADS or even SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES. Fronted by Silvia Resorte her voice became their trademark always backed by an urgent band trying to figure out what Hardcore was about and a synth player that created a cold atmosphere over most of their songs. This seminal band hailed from Barcelona and you can tell with the desperate feeling their songs have. Their lyrics have that teenage angst feel that only bands from the early '80s managed to write. Together with RIP, KANGRENA, ANTI-DOGMATIKSS, VULPESS, DESECHABLES or LARSEN this band helped putting Spain in the international Punk map back in the day.

PUNK. ULTRA BULLITT, it's a real "Boomy" mix: a part of HIVES, one once of KINKS, one dose of STOOGES, and don't forget a little bit of Fred "Sonic" Smith to make it a bit more "spicy"! Shake it hard to be shaked! A lovely cocktail to make the girls dance, and make the boys raise the fist! Vintage valves amps, thundering drums, BIG sound is right here! A screaming voice, a dense rythm section, helped by a fat warm Les Paul : all the "Garage Rock" flavour which would't forget melodies and hypnotic riffs. This deluxe gatefold sleeve vinyl edition comes with an included CD.

HARDCORE. ULTRA VIOLENCE were part of the New YorkHardcore scene from 1981 to 1987 and have decided to come back stronger than ever. This disc contains 10 new tracks, including a few old songs re-recorded, as well as 12 old tracks from the '80s taken from vinyl and cassette compilations from that time.

PUNK. This 7" from Chicago's ULTRATUMBADOS (UTS) came out last year and is the second single by the band that opened the last night of 2008's Totally Wired Fest. Expect dark, gothic Punk/Post-Punk with hints of CHRISTIAN DEATH, 45 GRAVE and WARSAW with lyrics in Spanish. For those who don't know anything about this band they are from the Chicago's Southside and sound like Spanish-sung MANIKIN. The song "Ultratumbados," attests to the band's appreciation for early NAKED RAYGUN too. It's REALLY good shit and comes with highest recommendation!

TRASH-METAL. Contains the only 2 demos recorded by this original 1980s Bay Area thrash band. Features members of HEATHEN, WARNING SF, and BACCHUS. Sound quality is very good. Simply put, this is one of the best underground thrash metal albums from the Bay Area ever, that nobody seems to know about! On par with EXODUS and VIOLENCE's debut albums, ULYSSES SIREN is being discovered every day by new fans. This is the first ever vinyl version, and once the secret is out about these 500 copies, they are sure to be gone in no time. Comes in a gatefold cover!

UMBRELLA aus den Staaten wirbeln ganz schoen viel Staub auf. Extrem schneller chaotischer Grindcore mit manischen Vocals der mir hier binnen 6 Songs in die Fresse schlaegt. Bei all den Blastbeats, den chaotischen Gitarrenriffings verlieren die Stuecke jedoch nicht den noetigen Druck, die Power und Durchschlagskraft. Hm, bei EVERY KID LOVES A CLOWN duerfte es sich um die musikalische Weiterfuehrung von THE AVENGING DISCO GODFATHERS OF SOUL handeln, deren Mitglieder hier auch mitwirken. Die 6 Stuecke sind eine waaghalsige und irrwitzige Kombination aus intensivem metallastigem Grindcore und rythmischem Elektro-Free-Jazz. Die Arrangements lassen zu keiner Zeit voreilige Schluesse zu, sondern sind permanent unvorhersehbar. Neben den herkoemmlichen Instrumenten werden auch Xylophon und Synthesizer abgefahren eingesetzt. Das Ganze kommt in limitierter Picture-Disk. Also nicht lange fackeln!

Was erwartet ihr musikalisch von diesem recht jungem Label? Right...auf dieser Split 10“ mit edlem Praegedruck gibt’s 2x hoechst extremen HC aus Uebersee. Harter Tobak, den die beiden mir unbekannten Bands da fabrizieren! Beide Bands sind enorm erfrischend und tight in ihrer Spielweise. UMBRELLA spielen einen gesunden, ueberzeugenden Mix aus hyperschnellen, breakigen Noise-Metal-HC und Chaos-Grind, der alles niederblaest. GIGANTIC BRAIN stehen dem in nichts nach und verwuesten alles mit ihrem organisiertem Chaos aus derbstem Grind und elektronischen Noiseklaengen. Die GIGNATIC BRAIN Seite spielt sich uebrigens von „innen nach außen“.

SKA. Die neunkoepfige Band aus Minneapolis, Minnesota mit nun schon ihrem zweiten Release fuer Mad Butcher. Die sieben Jungs und zwei Maedels machen sehr tanzbaren Ska der sich zwischen Two Tone und 3rd Wave bewegt. Ein besonderes Augenmerk haben im uebrigen die Lyrics verdient, diese sind sehr intelligent, ja beinah schon poetisch! Die CD enthaelt 13 Ska Tracks die direkt in die Beine gehen.

CROSSOVER/THRASH. UNCLE SLAM's "Say uncle" was released in 1988 and featured former SUICIDAL TENDENCIES drummer Amery Smith (he performed on their now classic debut album). Upon its release, "Say uncle" was immediately recognizable thanks to its distinctive and iconic artwork created by artist Michael Seiff, who at the time was becoming more popular with help from bands like SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, EXEL, NO MERCY and WASTED YOUTH already having had his artwork grace their most recent albums. Now being out of print for nearly 20 years, Divebomb Records is happy to bring this previous "holy grail" back to life for the fans (new or old) to discover and enjoy all over again.

Laut Info schon das sechste Album der schwedischen Crust Band. Insgesamt 16 Tracks (auf der CD 20 Tracks), voller aggression, und Wut die alles niederwaelzen. Laut der Band bestand ihr Studio Equiment aus: Apfelkorn, Whiskey, Cider, Rot Wein, Marinella, Moonshine Harmony und tons of beer. Aufgenommen wurde das ganze von Mieszko (Kriegshot/Nasum).
