HARDCORE. Hailing from Chula Vista, CA, TAKE OFFENSE play a mean breed of Hardcore influenced by WARZONE, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, INTEGRITY and all things hard. Year after year, the band has plugged away locally, honing their craft and tightening their sound to a razor precision. With their debut LP a ways off, TAKE OFFENSE wanted to release this two-song taste of all the good things to come. With a split and micro-press EP already under their belt, "Happiness under chains" makes for the ideal introduction to a great, hard hitting band.

POST-HARDCORE. Fusing the sounds of post-hardcore and rock, TAKE THE CROWN blends both to create the "new post-hardcore". Hailing from Orange County, CA, with all of it's preliminary notions, is the breeding ground for many great bands and upcoming talent, and TTC is no exception. For fans of: SAOSIN, AFI and TAKING BACK SUNDAY.

PUNK. Recently formed by guitarist Pat Diola (ABHORRANCE, STATIC REVOLUTION), Dustin Roth (AT RISK, SAVE YOURSELF), Marisa Kurk (ABHORRANCE, STRIKE OUT), TAKE WARNING seeks to blend melodic punk ala old AFI along with a new infectious sound. Following the paths of Santa Cruz heroes GOOD RIDDANCE and BLAST, the band is comprised of old friends and music scenesters, fusing once more punk and hardcore. The EP release of "Leaving here tomorrow" will hallmark the bands live act, playing alongside LOS DRYHEAVERS and GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY.

POST-HARDCORE/SCREAMO. After breaking up in late 2004, melodic hardcore band TAKEN are planning some reunion shows in March of 2008 in celebration of the release of a B-Sides collection. "This is forever" will see a domestic release via Goodfellow Records in March while Falling Leaves Records will release the collection in Japan. This release features the band's original 1998 demo, their 7inch and various unreleased and live material.

HARDCORE. Nashville's TAKEN UNDER have already made a name for themselves in their local scene, playing countless shows alongside bands like Since The Flood, Seventh Star and XdeathstarX and are soon to gain nationwide notoriety with the release of their debut EP for High Fidelity Records and a pummeling hardcore sound with gigantic breakdowns not unlike FIGURE FOUR, TERROR, SWORN ENEMY, CAST ASIDE and FULL BLOWN CHAOS.
