Most appropriately, Mark & Dave were members of anthemic UK hardcore band The STEAL, who broke up in late 2009; leaving two full length albums and memorable tours with LIFETIME, PAINT IT BLACK, and AGAINST ME! to name but a few. HARDCORE. PADDOCK PARK was formed in the summer of ’07 with their in-your-face screams, brutal breakdowns and catchy melodies. They have captured the ears of thousands of listeners, and virtually exploded onto the scene. After the debut self released highly anticipated EP, PADDOCK PARK is ready to unleash first full-length album "A hiding place for fake friends" and are more than ready to hit the road.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Available again. PAINT IT BLACK is excited to announce the title and showcase the artwork for their upcoming Bridge Nine release. This 7” EP, titled "Amnesia", and was recorded by Kurt Ballou of God City studios. If there's one thing about PAINT IT BLACK, it's that they're not only consistent but they keep finding ways to reinvent themselves in the framework of "Hardcore"-and "Amnesia" is no different. At one moment, uncomfortable and angry, the next minute cathartic and energetic, and closing with "Bliss"-the song described by frontman Dan Yemin as "sounding like FUGAZI having a three-way with JAWBREAKER and NIRVANA." We couldn't agree more-except we'd like to add that the PIXIES were probably photographing the three way (you'll know when you hear it).

HARDCORE-PUNK. Second pressing of the LP. It's gritty, thunderous, and ugly, just the way hardcore-punk should be. "New lexicon" marks the band's first recording with new drummer Jared Shavelson (HOPE CONSPIRACY, NONE MORE BLACK) and boasts guest vocals from Jeff Pezatti (NAKED RAYGUN, THE BOMB). An aggressive clarity with a thick low-end up front (think BAD BRAINS' Roir sessions). Feedback, bass booms, and cymbal crashes are twisted into haunting ambient interludes and serpentine waves trailing behind the buzz saw riffs. Fifteen songs clocking in at 30 minutes, 26 seconds. Sounds like BAD BRAINS, BLACK FLAG, KID DYNAMITE, MODERN LIFE IS WAR and NIRVANA all at once.

Die straighten Frueh-80er Jahre Gitarren (die teilweise durch moderne, melodische Gitarrenlinien unterstuetzt werden), der tonnenschwere Bass, das tighte Drumming und der angepisste Saenger ergaenzen sich perfekt. Wem das Debut Album gefallen hat, der wird auch dieses zweite Werk moegen.

Fronted by the esteemed Dan Yemin of the genre defining bands LIFETIME and KID DYNAMITE, PAINT IT BLACK have taken today’s hardcore movement by the throat and tighten their grip with each compelling release. With 3 full-lengths under their belt, PIB have decided to return to the 7”/EP format as they explain here: “We feel really fortunate that we’ve been able to release 3 albums that have been both exciting for us, and also wellreceived by the kids and the press. That being said, we can’t think of a single hardcore punk band that has released more than 3 awesome full-length records, and we’re not nearly arrogant enough to imagine that we’ll be the first band to make that happen. The 7” EP has always been the ideal context for the kind of music we play, and so we’ve decided to release music in that format for the foreseeable future. The most exciting thing about this decision is that we don’t have to wait so long to release a new record, which lets us be more spontaneous and stay more intimately connected with the kids that support our band.” Suffice it to say, Fat Wreck Chords is stoked to be a part of this new direction PAINT IT BLACK are taking with the release of "Surrender", four blistering tracks that embody the articulate, passionate, and technically formidable style that PIB are known for.

Collecting PAINTBOX's four 7" releases - their debut 7" EP, "Door / Provided railroad" 7", "Cry of the sheeps" and "Back reporter" Flexi with tracks from tribute records to both POISON IDEA and JAPANESE legend GHOUL, "Relicts" is as much of an overview of PAINTBOX progression as a litmus of their insane skill at combining diverse music ideas within the framework of "Burning Spirits" styled hardcore.

Blasting, energetic rocking hardcore from Tokyo, the debut LP by Tokyo, Japan’s PAINTBOX is a stunning blend of traditional "Burning spirits" Japanese hardcore mixed with melodic pop and driving hard rock influences, fueled by raging guitar leads, a rampaging rhythm section and husky, tough sung vocals. Original issued on the HG FACT label, it is issued for the first time in the U.S. on vinyl. The Prank Records version features different artwork, a translated lyric sheet, a different A/B side breakdown and improved mastering from a now deleted vinyl pressing on Canada’s Ugly Pop Records. Guitarist Chelsea was instrumental to the creation of "Burning spirits" sound as a member of 1980’s legends DEATHSIDE, but forged new ground with PAINTBOX with its infectious, upbeat energy.

HARDCORE. Gatefold, heavy weight sleeve. The Third LP from Tokyo's PAINTBOX was almost ten years in the making is finally available on Vinyl. Combing the ferocity of Japanese hardcore with influences from across the music spectrum-Classic rock, J-Pop, Psychedelia and more- this double LP is an almost 70 minute journey through a myriad of emotions and Sound scapes that stretches the concept of a hardcore LP to it's limit in a way only Japanese legends PAINTBOX could. Comes in a heavy weight tip-on Stoughton sleeve with fold out lyric sheet with English lyric translations.

HARDCORE. Baltimore, MD's PALA feature members of PULLING TEETH and bring a technical and rather innovative style of Hardcore that can somewhat be described as CONVERGE crossing paths with AT THE DRIVE IN. 3 songs!

HARDCORE. From Cleveland, OH, the land of INTEGRITY and RiINGWORM, come PALE CREATION, who take a page from the book of classic Clevo metallic hardcore and add an influence of old METALLICA. Guest vocals by Dwid of Integrity on this recording. 7" includes digital download.

HARDCORE. PALEHORSE's "Amongst the flock" is a new page for Bridge Nine. Bands have fused hardcore and metal before, but PALEHORSE adds a new dimension to the sounds that have made HATEBREED and INTEGRITY cornerstones within the hardcore world. Of course, PALEHORSE broadened their horizons and challenged their own songwriting abilities. Now, PALEHORSE is taking the groundwork laid and mixing it with the discordant melodies from modern influences like TRAGEDY and HIS HERO IS GONE and the intricate guitar work that is not far off from '80s thrash-metal like EXODUS or NUCLEAR ASSAULT. Combine this broad range of influences with the drumming, the raspy vocals and lyrics touching on everything from religion and politics to personal struggle, and you have a record that is going to surprise everyone who hears it. Production from Jim Siegel (Dropkick Murphys, Blood For Blood) makes every note and hit sound loud and full, giving us a record that is modern crossover at its best and heaviest.

With their explosive mini-debut "Secrets within secrets, PALEHORSE offer genuine crossover appeal of traditional late '80s NYHC fused with today's modern trends. Recorded by veteran engineer Dean Baltulonis (MADBALL, MODERN LIFE IS WAR), "Secrets within secrets," reminds us that when we stop looking and begin to see, we become aware. The CD version comes in a different cover!

CRUST-HARDCORE. Another great band from eastern Poland. On the one hand it's a perfect mix of Spanish Crust like EKKAIA or MADAME GERMEN on the other it sounds like FUNERAL DINER or early FALL OF EFRAFA. Expect everything from slow, dark emotional parts to head on D-Beat tempos. Melancholic and powerful.

POST-PUNK. PANGEA return to vinyl! This time with their debut (4 Song) EP, and boy have they cranked it up a few notches since the split with HARVEST MOON SOCIETY in 2007. PANGEA has progressed from a (typically acoustic) two-piece, to a full, five-piece electric wall of sound. Quite different then their previous releases, and I mean this in a nothing but positive way. The production value on this is amazingly loud, powerful, and bursting with energy. Personally bringing to mind bands like early PERE UBU and WIRE, this record is charged to the brink with catchy melodies you won't be able to get out of your head if you tried. Definite traces of SUBURBAN LAWNS in there as well (Musically not vocally). First press limited to 300.

HARDCORE. At the brink of 2006 Panic recorded 6 new songs with whom, through explosive tearing and shredding they take another attack at their inner demons. Panic is back and here to stay! Features ex-members of The Trouble, American Nightmare, In My Eyes.

PANIC is a strong part of the new wave of hardcore bands that are starting to re-emerge from the Boston scene. Having already played out with American Nightmare, Death Threat, Bad Brains, Bane, etc.

HARDCORE. Formed in 2000 by the singer of Boston's celebrated streetpunk band THE TROUBLE and backed by original members of Boston's groundbreaking hardcore band AMERICAN NIGHTMARE and now-Virgin Records punkers THE EXPLOSION, PANIC was one of the fastest, angriest bands in the city. They released 2 EPs on Bridge Nine, and broke up in mid 2002. Four years later, PANIC is back. After playing a reunion show in Holland and getting back on their feet, they've reformed and to support this rebirth, Bridge Nine has collected their now out-of-print Singles and 3-song demo on one Album. All of the original, out-of-print classic tracks can now be heard on this records. Now available on colored vinyl!
