PUNK-ROCK/POP-PUNK. O PIONEERS are back with a brand new song and brand new members as frontman Eric Soloman has enlisted the help of Toronto, Ontario's JUNIOR BATTLES as not only the co-inhabitants of this split 7" but also as his new backing band. They sound tighter than ever with this driving, aggressive and melodic tune called "Hey! That's my blood!" If this is a sign of things to come from O PIONEERS, then people who haven't taken notice yet really need to jump on board. Pulling double duty here, JUNIOR BATTLES contribute "Passing out" as the song on the flip side of this 7". With varying tempos, catchy guitar lines and soaring dueling vocals, O PIONEERS bring their own cool brand of Pop Punk with distinctive nods to the 90s Emo scene.

PUNK. Hailing from Houston, TX, O PIONEERS!!! deliver a raw Punk release that can be compared to HOT WATER MUSIC and LEATHERFACE. They have appeared on tons of 7"s, compilations, splits and have carved a niche in the DIY community by running their own screen printing shop and booking shows in the city of Houston.

SINGER/SONGWRITER. Suburban Home Records is excited to announce the tenth release of their "Under The Influence" series. The artwork has been put together by the very talented Mitch Clem and Nation Of Amanda who have been asked to make their own renditions of the album art that the song being covered originally appeared. For this tenth release, O PIONEERS!!! are covering "American heart" by PIEBALD and NEW BRUISES are covering "Nu bruises" by SUPERCHUNK. 7" includes digital download.

DOOM-HARDCORE. Four tracks of epic, crushing Doom from Baltimore, MD featuring members of WAKE UP ON FIRE and the almighty DEATHAMMER. Think BURNING WITCH meets DISEMBOWLEMENT. Pressed on heavy vinyl and packaged in a gatefold cover with stellar artwork both inside and out.

DOOM-HARDCORE. Despite only having been a band for a short period of time, Syracuse, NY's OAK & BONE have been turning heads by touring the East Coast and bringing a heavy, dirty Hardcore sound with sludgy influences, crossing the styles of BREATHER RESIST and CURSED with the Doom and Gloom of UNSANE and 16. The 7" includes a download card that includes an extra song not on the 7".

HARDCORE. On their most superb effort to date, DAS OATH plow ahead on their destructive path with some of their most unpredictable chord progressions and relentlessly chaotic song structures yet. On their 3rd "full-length" outing, the band has somehow managed to turn their noise drenched compositions up another notch to belt out one mind blowing anthem after another. With contributions from Will (Orchid, Bucket Full of Teeth, Ampere), Joey Karam (The Locust, Le Shok), and Sal Gallegos (Some Girls) these 7 songs combine to form a face smashing and haunting masterpiece of rage. With artwork from renown photographer John Divola, this is sure to be one the most expressive and important contemporary punk records in years. This is a one time pressing of 1000 copies on a special 11" format, with an inserts suitable for framing and full color fitted jackets. Nice but expensive as usual!

PUNK-ROCK. "I blame you" is the first full-length from OBITS, whose frontman Rick Froberg has led bands like DRIVE LIKE JEHU, HOT SNAKES and PITCHFORK. With OBITS, Froberg brings his unmistakable vocal styles to a rockin' Punk sound with a big Garage influence.

DEATH METAL. "Cause of death" is considered a landmark album in the history of death metal. The artwork was done by artist Michael Whelan. It is their first release with permanent member Frank Watkins on bass, and also their first and only album with guitarist James Murphy, previously of death metal pioneers DEATH. The cover art of this album was used in an H.P. Lovecraft collection, Bloodcurdling Tales of Horror and the Macabre, and part of it was used in The Tomb and The Doom That Came to Sarnath paperbacks. It was supposed to be the cover of SEPULTURA's album "Arise", but Roadrunner Records let OBITUARY use it before, as "Cause of death" was released in 1990 and "Arise" only in 1991. SEPULTURA chose another Michael Whelan illustration for Arise's cover.

DEATH METAL. "World demise" is a classic in the OBITUARY discography, recorded after one of the best sold death metal album in history, "The end complete". Actually, this one is a bit different from the albums before, but always remaining fucking OBITUARY in style (rotten, down tuned and death metal). Anyway, it is a bit slower with less fast parts. The biggest fast parts have some hardcore components, so new for the group. The tempo parts are a bit changed, while the drums are less direct but more various and technical.

METALCORE. OBLIGE hail from the Inland Empire of Southern California and bring pummelling metal, dominated by a lower end, double bass drumming and heavy guitars, all played with a slight groove, bringing to mind bands like PANTERA, CROWBAR, BLOOD HAS BEEN SHED and BURY YOUR DEAD.

HARDCORE. "This is tomorrow" is a 5-song platter picking up where the first EP left off, keeping things on track with the early US meets early Scandi HC sound, but adding a dash of MOTÖRHEAD for good measure. Features Jon Westbrook of KNIFE FIGHT on vocals being backed by members of MIND ERASER.

PUNK. Rerelease of this long out-of-print 10'' of Memphis own sons of bluesy Lo-Fi Garage madness with a heart and a soul. 11 songs that originallly came out in their early days in 1994, right before the 'Soul food' LP. So this is wild stuff, baby!

METAL. Prepare to be amazed by technical Metal masters OBSCURA (ex-NECROPHAGIST, PESTILENCE) and their Relapse debut "Cosmogenesis". "Cosmogenesis" is a front-to-back stroke of brilliance that seamlessly fuses modern Metals extremity, the upper levels of technical virtuosity, and the symphonic grace of progressive music into a flawless album experience. The band more than justifies their impressive pedigree with what will be one of 2009's best Metal albums and a timeless classic in the making.

HARDCORE-PUNK. This record features the 4 songs from the first OBSERVERS demo recorded in 2003. Tracked in Colin's room and mixed in Doug's, this demo was first released on tape and then on CD-R. It was only sold at the first shows THE OBSERVERS played. Tracks are: ''Short day'', ''Down on today'', ''Can't be sad'' and ''State of decay''. This 7" is wrapped in a silkscreen cover and will be pressed for one time only.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Now available again on LP and CD. Melancholy sing-along punk that combines the darker and more experimental aspects of bands like DEAD KENNEDYS and WARSAW and late '70s UK art punk with the anthemic choruses of L.A.'s YOUTH BRIGADE, yet sounding nothing like any of those bands. HIghly recommended for fans of the mentioned bands, as well as THE STITCHES and THE GEISHA GIRLS.

METAL/HARDCORE. The eight-member German progressive band The OCEAN mix the layered sonic landscapes and slow-building tempos of NEUROSIS, ISIS and CULT OF LUNA with periods of aggressive metal and hardcore, but the music is interspersed with dense atmospheres that give the album a Danny Elfman-styled film score feeling.

METAL/HARDCORE. The songs, art and lyrics of "Heliocentric" tell the story of the rise of the heliocentric world view and its effects on Christian beliefs from medieval times to Darwin and Dawkins. Musically, "Heliocentric" covers the largest range of dynamics and styles The OCEAN has endeavored, from calm songs featuring only piano and vocals to crushingly heavy tunes.

METAL/HARDCORE. Germany's THE OCEAN is a musical collective that mixes the sheer heavy power of bands like OLD MAN GLOOM and BOTCH with the dark tones of NEUROSIS and GODSPEED YOU BLACK EMPEROR! and the orchestration of classical composers. This double disc is over 80 total minutes of music, with guest vocals coming courtesy of Caleb Scofield (CAVE IN, ZOZOBRA, OLD MAN GLOOM), Nate Newton (CONVERGE, DOOMRIDERS), Dwid (INTEGRITY) and many more.

POST-HARDCORE. On the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut "The tide," Florida's OCEANA continue to dole out a textured mix of modern, experimental heavy Rock in the vein of DEFTONES and aggressive, all-out Metalcore akin to NORMA JEAN, expressed in a live show they performed over 200 times in 2008.
