PUNK. After 30 years in the game, England’s original punks GBH are back to reclaim the streets with a brand new riotous release, "Perfume and piss". Barnburning, fist-pumping, palace-gates-storming tracks like "Kids get down," "Cadillac one" and "This is not the real world" carry the torch forward with the band's trademark fury that is nihilistic, optimistic, pessimistic, anarchistic, violent, humorous and deadly serious all at once. HARDCORE-PUNK. This LP compiles the music from Peru's G3, originally released as a cassette only around 86-87, who were one of the few hardcore punk bands representing South America in the '80s. These tracks were recorded in 1987 and can be described as a fast, raw 7 SECONDS inspired punk attack.

INDIE-ROCK. Diese schon seit fast 10 Jahren existierende Band aus Alabama hat es doch nochmal geschafft, 2003 ein Debutalbum zu veröffentlichen, auf dem sie 10 mal gekonnt zeigen, was in ihnen steckt. Leider erreichte man damals nicht das gewünschte Publikum, so daß das Ganze jetzt via Ass-Card nochmal erscheint. Herrlich mitreissender und punkiger Rock oder rockiger Punk, mit viel guter Gitarrenarbeit und coolen, manchmal auch leicht melancholischen Melodien, die vor Energie und Hingabe strotzen und auch vor ehrlichen Gefühlen nicht zurückschrecken. Diese können sich sowohl in getrageneren Parts, wie auch in lauten Ausbrüchen offenbaren. Vergleiche reichen da von SAMIAM (vor allem bei den langsameren, etwas traurigeren Songs), FACE TO FACE und den FOO FIGHTERS. Alles schön trocken und kraftvoll produziert, schnörkellos dargeboten und einfach zeitlos. Kein spektakuläres Rumgehampel, sondern einfach nur 10 gute Songs!

HARDCORE. Coupling the musical delivery of both TRIAL and FLOORPUNCH, Albany, NY's GAINING GROUND bring a fresh approach to their scene, attacking with speed, anger and plenty of breakdowns and singalongs.

POST-HARDCORE. The UK's GALLOWS burst onto the scene with their Epitaph debut "Orchestra of wolves" and is set to strike back with "Grey Britain" which once again inspired by the early '80s Hardcore scene, '90s Swedish modern Hardcore a la REFUSED, a 13-track assault filled with plenty of sneer and Punk attitude.

POST-HARDCORE. A screaming blast from across the Atlantic, England's GALLOWS have arrived to remind us of punk's angry roots. Their debut album, "Orchestra of wolves," originally released in the UK in 2006, saw the band immensely heralded as saviors of the scene. Inspired by the early 80’s hardcore scene, 90’s swedish modern-hardcore bands such as REFUSED, the metal riffs of MASTODON and the discordance of key underground bands such as JR EWING, GALLOWS premier goal was to wrestle punk back from the fashion police and re-invest it with passion, brutality and menace. The new edition feature 3 exclusive bonus tracks, total 15 songs.

Very few bands have been able to combine the best elements of punk, hardcore, emo and pop to make something simpler, something all their own. Orange County's Gameface has been perfecting just such a style since 1990 and have never looked back. There's good reason why Gameface have been credited with influencing so many of today's younger, successful bands (ie: Saves The Day, A New Found Glory, etc). Gameface's history can be traced through their four 7" singles, four full length releases, and split EP along with over six US tours and two of Europe. 1999 saw the return of Gameface with the release of "Every Last Time" after a three year break between full-lengths, the album was embraced by fans old and new right out of the box and the single "My Star" was played on radio and video shows everywhere. Their latest opus, "Always On", shows a maturation that can only come with experience. "Always On" is a ten track collection of the emotional, melodic rock that Gameface has become known for and somehow improve upon.

Southern California's Gameface has come a long way since 1990. Their music combines the best elements of punk, hardcore, emo and pop to make something simpler, something sincere beyond a defined scene. They have the ability to reach people with undeniably catchy melodies underneath hearfelt lyrics. By consistently producing good, honest rock music, Gameface has earned their role as a staple in the post hardcore scene.

Two originals and one '80s cover song each on this unique split. Errortype:11's melodic yet driving, post-hardcore riffing and Gameface's punk tinged, emo-pop compliment one another perfectly and this recording shows just what each band does best: rock. The idea for the EP was inspired by a recording of a telephone conversation featuring gripping dialog from a man that we'll refer to as "Drunk Tony". That recording is of course featured prominently on this EP, the CD version of which is a beautifully laid-out digipack.

HARDCORE. GANG GREEN are a Boston-based punk group obsessed with beer, skateboarding, and beer, particularly Budweiser. As can probably be inferred from their subject matter, the group's other selling point is a snotty, irreverent attitude about basically everything. The band is led by singer/guitarist Chris Doherty, whose bandmates have changed several times over the years. He formed GANG GREEN in 1982, but its reformation in 1985 was the one that signed the record deal. After several albums, they were dropped by Roadrunner in 1990. In 2003, Roadrunner released '"You got it / Older...Budweiser" , which contained two albums - "You got It! (1987, the first album originally released on Roadrunner) and "Older...Budweiser" (1989, the second album also originally on Roadrunner) - by GANG GREEN on one compact disc. Now avialble on high quality 180 gr. double vinyl!

Debutalbum von GARMONBOZIA aus Minneapolis, welches schon im September 2003 aufgenommen wurde und nun endlich veroeffentlicht wurde. 7 Songs die zwischen Crustcore, D-Beat Thrash und Metal schwanken. Der Clou bei diesem Album ist das Cello, welches den Songs eine eigenstaendige Note und Melancholie verleiht, und mich ein wenig an MY DYING BRIDE erinnert, die female Vocals sind verzerrt und fast ''hexenartig'' und lassen die Songs noch ein wenig aggressiver rueberkommen. Die Songs sind lang und abgefahren strukturiert. Mal was ganz anderes im stumpfen D-Beat Sumpf und deshalb sollte das Album von Fans von REMAINS OF THE DAY und MONUMENTS TO RUINS unbedingt angestetet werden. Absoluter Tipp!!!

Without the radical departure in style so typical of big musical strides, Garrison takes their songwriting talent to new heights with their debut full length, A Mile In Cold Water. This long awaited LP incorporates driving rock with soaring melodies, seamless transitions and insightful lyrics. Produced by Kurt Ballou (Cave-In, Converge, Isis, Piebald), the record is somehow distorted while clear harmonies run throughout. Fans of everything from Mineral to Fugazi will want to give this a listen. But Garrison's sound isn't easy to classify - Land Of Treason 'zine perhaps said it best: "Garrison is too awkward and off-kilter for the indie-pop tag and too musically intricate and textured for any of the hardcore pigeonholes."

Since their inception in 1998 Garrison has been setting the independent music world on its ear with songs and a live performance exploding with energy and emotion. Their new album entitled "Be A Criminal" surpasses all previous efforts with its defined focus and sonic clarity. This release, their sophomore album, leans towards a D.C. influenced post punk/ rock sound akin to JAWBOX, TANNER, and even THE PIXIES. Produced by J. ROBBINS (BURNING AIRLINES, ex-JAWBOX).

This is the first time a lot of the material appears on hard vinyl (being previously on now super collectable flexis), some live sound board tracks.
